Last Wednesday the 27th of April I passed on eyebrow maintenance, tint and eyelash tint. I feel comfortable carrying out these treatments on clients and that I do it to a professional salon standard.
My client was very happy with the finished results and would come back for more treatments.

I have one pedicure and manicure left but to pass on these I need to practice my french finish as it isn't yet up to salon standards, I will practice on people in my beauty group and at home on family members. I need to ensure that no nail varnish is in the skin and if it goes on the skin I would use nail polish remover and a cotton bud. I also need to ensure that the white is the same thickness and shape on each nail.
To pass the criteria on manicure I also need to do the add on of paraffin wax where I will moisturize  the skin before applying a even coverage of the paraffin wax then covering in foil and wrap in a towel. I will then leave in on for 10 minutes so the wax sets so it is easier to remove.

i passed my 2nd pedicure, i really enjoyed giving my client a pedicure and she said it was very relaxing. i did paraffin wax for my add on but didn't do a finish on her toes.

i passed my first makeup assessment on Monday 25th April. i was very happy with my finished look for day makeup and so was my client who gave me a positive feedback when i showed her in a mirror.

last week i did an assignment in half a leg wax, i passed with time to spare and was very happy with the end result.

last Wednesday (24th February) i passed my first manicure and bikini wax assignments. I really enjoyed carrying out these treatments on my client that i brought in as she told me she found the manicure treatment very relaxing and would gladly come in for another one again. She was happy with her bikini wax finish as i got out all the hairs out that she asked me to remove and that her modesty was kept during the treatment.  

I like this blog because it shows you how to achieve certain makeup looks, how to do different hair styles and different fashion trends. i know this blog isn't all about beauty but i think its good to know about the different fashion trends and hair styles as i think this is also a big part of beauty industry.  

Today i set up my new blog (24th February) that i will be using to document what i do during my work experience at college which will go towards me completing my level 2 beauty therapy qualification.
